Don't laugh till you get to the bottom of my post

Try the bath room on for size!!

I'm 6'3" 300 lbs and it is work to use mine in my Hybrid (Forest River Shamrock 18R if I remember the #)

Go in drop your pants and see if you can pick them back up excreta????
Do you fit in the shower and be able to wash and not just stand under the shower???

This is all hind site for me but you get my point.
I can use our bath room with a little contortion, but I think it would be easier to wrestle with an alligator.

We are looking for a class C or A motor home and bathroom and beds are a tie for first things we have been looking at all the rest is icing on the cake.

Permission granted to laugh now.

Congrats....Please post some pics...i'd love to see what you finalized on.

The wife an I are debating selling the MH and going back to a TT for a variety of reasons...Mainly space issues..there's a huge difference in useable space between a 30' MH and 30' TT....The great Dane is the main problem in the decision...He's easier to haul in the MH as opposed to sharing the rear seat of my truck with my daughter.

We do our walk thru Saturday. I'll take some pics. We ended up with a Keystone Hideout 38BHDS. Our main needs were large master, and bath. We wanted to be able to change in our bedroom, and get dryed off in our bath, LOL . Its a dual slide with a slide in the master with a king bed. We are mainly seasonal, but do pull it now and then to go to different places.

Looked up a version of that..VERY NICE!!..the slide in the MBR will make a huge difference and the "split bath" is the only real way to get any room in an RV bathroom...The LR slide is a big plus..looks like a nice open floor plan with good counter space...Did you get the bunks and the sliding glass door?

38', that's a big 'in.

Sorry about the double post...Dont know how that happened. Yes it has the bunks and slider. The daughter will love having her own table in the bunk room to do her makeup and whatever 16yr olds gals do...lol....Were excited for our campground to open. We do go to different places twice a yr, so it will be towed very little.

Not laughin at you, but with you...Out TT had a split bath, Sink on one side of the hall, and crapper and shower on the other side. When I steped out of the shower, I was a nose lenght away from the door. didnt leave much room for dryin off let alone gettin dressed. Ok your turn to laugh.....

Thing I do not like is RV toilets, in addition to being in small confines, tend to be very, very short. In our 5th wheel, I got a 3" riser base for the toilet at the local RV parts shop. That made a nice difference...

Our 04 had a low crapper, the new one has a diff style. I havent "used" it yet, but i will use a riser base if i need to....thanks for the tip...

your cummins will be more than adequate. Personally for travel trailers, because they are big and relatively light, i like a WD hitch with the reese dual cam sway bars. IMHO the friction units are garbage by comparison.

I know the type of friction device you are speaking of but the equalizer brand and similar style hitch is well respected. In fact it is probably the most praised sway control available and it is friction based.

What I like about the Reese dual cam over the equalizer system is the ease of changing the spring tension based on the need. For example, if you take firewood to the campsite in the bed of the truck, you can take a link less out of the chain to level the load. On the return trip, put the link back in the equation. You can do the same with the equalizer but it requires wrenches.
