RZT50; ran over fabric; stalled; won't crank

If you don't get anywhere with the deck wiring tell it a political joke.

A broken shear key will throw ignition timing off but not interfere with the starter being able to spin the motor. "Won't crank" doesn't seem to fit. Cranks but won't fire would be the result.

It was just meant to be that way.

Seems the initial stupidity and results are't enough punishment. NO, there has to be more suffering involved! lol I WISH I was joking.

I agree with a previous poster - high likelihood it’s related to PTO safety switch.

The tractor was forced to stop with the PTO going. That can create issues.

I’d check are recheck that the tractor believes the PTO is disengaged.

I hate to ever suggest people start messing with connections unnecessarily. But maybe it is some puterized contraption and removing battery power for a minute will make it happy again.

Make sure your “mow” feature is disengaged.
