Why not just order the correct one from a Yanmar parts dealer?

May have to, just would be cheaper to buy it local, dont care to much to pay $10+ shipping on a $5 spring.

Norm, can you post a photo of that washable air filter some time?

I bought a couple of really old unopened Yanmar air filters off Ebay, so old the packaging is green instead of red (1970's??). They seem to be made of fuzzy paper like felt. I wonder if they could be the washable model.

My filter, (tractor), is about 800 miles away until November. The felt-like material sounds about right , if it's fabric. If I remember correctly, when I bought my tractor about 10 years ago the replacement OEM air filter was about $45.

i pulled an aluminium framed yellow papered yanmar insigniad air filter out of mine when i bought it,i will see if i can find it and post a pic.

Neat that sounds just like mine. My tractor is on the trailer right now and has an implement infront of the hood which will not allow i to tilt all the way foward, or else i would take a pic of it.
