Most Ag disc's we are selling today come in about 300 to 400lbs per foot of cut that we are selling today. We have sold them up to 1,000lbs per foot of cut.

You might want to go to a plow or a tiller!

That makes sense. By my estimation, I need to add 1000lb to my 1300lb, 8' frame.

I've added some 400lb and have seen slight improvement.

Another question of course is how to add more weight cheaply.

Steel beams and railroad rails are expensive...I'm thinking water, sand or dirt...

Some guy on here uses concrete he fills 5 gallon buckets and puts a rod through them before filling to give a handle. I think its close to 100lbs a bucket. He then throws a strap over it, so if you add like 5 buckets thats close to 500lbs. If i stood them vertically i think in could easily get 4 even on my 4 ft disk!
