15w-40 is what I use in my older tractors. It's HD-HD oil and is for C and S applications. WW has a house brand.

that's what i'd use. 15w40 c/s rated oil.

all you need is 7 PSI per 1000 RPM to keep bearings lubed ... so 25 PSI is plenty ( and very good ) at idle ....

BTW .... ANY oil today will be far superior to any oil specified way back when ..... ... that being said 15W40 is what I run too...

Switching to the 15w 40 was perfect. The old SAE 30 went from 60 cold to 20 hot. The 15w40 goes from 57 to 38.

i use 15w40 in most of my engines. gas or diesel. it's a good range oil.
