Safely cutting tall grass with Scag Freedom Z - 28 hp

I have a 2 acre field of 12"-16" grass that's gone to seed. Can I safely mow this with a 2011 Scag Freedom Z, 28 hp Briggs, without overworking the engine?
I'm guessing no problem, but wanted to get other opinions.

Sharp blades and if it's thick raise the deck to 4" or so. If its just a few shoots that tall then regular height should be fine. If it bogs the engine than you 'll need to raise it.

Just ease into the brush with the deck all the way up.

Then successively lower the deck with each pass afterward.

I'd say a minimum of two passes and possibly a third.

Do I really hafta mention keeping the discharge pointing outward?

Be careful if the cutter deck is shaft drive, if the tall grass gets tangled around the shaft that enters the gearbox in the front, it could compromise the seal and it will leak
