Yesterday,
I was out mowing on my JD 4400 and the tractor was cutting out on me,well when ever I bounced around on the seat it seemed to help me keep it going, today I was driving again and it was doing the same thing, finally it got to the point, when I could get it started it would idle alright, but when I pushed the hydro pedal it would die.
Sometimes I would jiggle the pto engage lever and that would allow me to start.I am not sure which switch or where.
What do you think?

Check all your safety interlock switchs. It sounds like you have a loose connection at one of them.

The first day I used my 110 if you were driving over rough ground it would stop driving,it turned out to be the seat switch, the rough ground caused the machine to bounce a bit, thus bouncing me,which activated the seat switch.I located the switch and jumped it with a jumper wire,I know this may not be the safest thing, but how else am I supposed to run the thing,I'm all for being safe, but make the safety stuff make sense.
