Salt Is Great Deer Bait!

Ya know, a while back I started a thread asking about this. The part about using salt to attrack animals to gnaw down stumps. My original thought was porcupines but it would appear that deer might be just as effective. And who knows what else would commit to a salted stump.

I've never seen a porcupine this side of the bay, but the deer do a good job. Never thought of it before.
