SAME Argon 50
The new (blue) seal was an absolute bastard to get in. I ended up having to grease it to get it into position after much cursing!

SAME Argon 50
I cleaned up the corrosion on the end cap with the wire wheel on my bench grinder.

The mosquitoes drove me out of my workshop and into the house this evening.
Re-assembling tomorrow!

SAME Argon 50
Mission accomplished!
I was surprised at how simple the ram is internally.
The hardest part of this job was the tight fit of the seals making them hard to fit in place.
I had to do a bit of improvisation here and there, but we got there in the end. ;-)

Do you have one (left) or 2 steering cylinders?
I had idea to install second (right) one too, as never Same’s have.
