Hi,

A buddy of mine built this for me. I couldn't afford a real sander for my 1000 plus ft driveway so this is the next best thing. It also serves as ballast for heavy loader work (tires are filled) and as an adjustable trailer hitch and tool box.

With the freezing rain we have bee having here in NH looks like I will get to try it out for real tomorrow.

Fred

Interesting setup. Do you have hydraulic top link to tilt in the one picture, or is that just top link undone and 3-point lifted up? Looks like you could to wheelies with a full barrel /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Is the barrel removable for using as a carry all during the rest of the year?

No hydraulics...

The frame stays in place and the base tilts out.

I find if the tractor is pointing downhill and I lower th 3 pt hitch and drive forward the base flips back up into place.

I slide in the pin at the front of the base and I am locked in.

I think if I took the blower off the front wheelies would be a problem!

Barrel is removable - two adjustable straps hold in in place.
