Finally broke down and bought a BX2200 with 60" MMM, FEL, & 60" rear blade. Went over the tractor with the dealer tonight and they are delivering tomorrow afternoon. First real tractor that I have ever owned and looking forward to the many projects. Checked with 4 dealers before I could even find one. Decided not to wait on new model on account of some fall projects. Do I actually have to do all the things I told my wife that I could do??

I got 8yrs out of my Sears graden tractor (so far) but she's getting a little tired of all the mowing.

Great forum, appreciate all the information. I think it really helped me make an educated decision.

Congratulations on the new addition. As for doing all the things you told the wife..........well you only have to do the ones you told her it would do for her!! And they come first, then if you have any time left over you can choose to do the ones you told her it would do for you /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I thought I had two justafiable projects for it. I just find more and more every day.

Do yourself a favor and get good at taking EVERYthing off and on. Mowing is a pleasure without the loader. Loading is a pleasure when you're not plwing dirt with the deck.

This thing will kill you if you ask it to. The lower you can keep the bucket the better. Backing down a hill is better that going forward. Everything can lower even with the tractor off (woops,... sorry honey! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif ).

Anyway, go to the safty section and ask... I'm probably forgetting some stuff.

Congrats, you'll love it. The BX is s nice mowing machine. Watch the ROP's when mowing if you have low limbs on trees. You will find all kinds of usefull ways to use the FEL. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hey.. don't laugh.. I did that.. ROPS (foldable only I forgot to fold it) vs Garage.. duh. Felt like a real idiot. Had to replace the trim boards.. but there was one good note.. NO damage to the ROPS or tractor.. and.. I had an excuse to buy a table saw for the trim work.

Now I back the tractor into the garage.. can't help but see if the ROPS is still up!

ain't it the truth , my door has a tendency to creep down and if it come down to much(ouch) so i keep it up with a bungee cord when i am pulling the tractor out and to make sure i don't forget see picture, is very functional and makes for one heck of a conversation piece /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
