The key is you have to switch every couple years to keep the best pricing. We had Dish and after the 2 year price lock was up they kept jacking the price I'd call and complain and they would bring it down for a few months. But not to the level of what they give new customers. So we dumped them. We have decent enough internet to stream so we switched to that.

However no problems with Dish during the time we had them other than it pisses me off when a company gives new subscribers a discount but wont do that for current customers. I would have happily signed a new 2 year contract to lock in that price.

I’m going to stick with the slow centurylink DSL I have. Not great, but only $40/month. My Dish Network bill is $60/month and I’m happy with the service and selection.

if we only had DSL :( Heck, even dial up was only about 16k, the lines are so noisy we cannot carry on a phone conversation. When they fix a line around here they just wrap it in a garbage bag!
