I got a great price and have loved my Midwest attachments. The equipment:
72" aerator, 84"rake with guage wheels, 72" 6way blade, 60" rotary cutter with slip clutch.
Purchased from Dave Jernigan of RPM Sales in Ft. Madison, IA. Dave is over 250 miles away and delivered the equipment to my Land at no additional cost. Prices were as good as anywhere and in JD green.
Summary: this is really good equipment at a fair price. Jim Mc, the designer answered questions on the phone and even sent a "care package" with top link pins, since they were missing. TERRIFIC SERVICE all the way around.
Some of you may recall that I'm willing to complain, if the service is bad -- also willing to share positive experiences.
Yesterday I used the rotary cutter for the first time (all implements easily hook up to the JD I-match quick hitch). The cutter went through 5-6' tall brush easily. Man, it feels good to give that 4310 a workout. Thanks to JMIII and others for tips on brush cutting - kept the loader low, moved forward and had a GREAT day!
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Midwest equipment. Now, if Jim will develop the valve that will keep my tilt cylinder from leaking down; maybe next year. BTW, strongly recommend at least the top cylinder, but top and tilt really lets me adjust implement position on the fly. So, much to learn, so little time, but this is FUN!
