- Kubota L4610 HSTC, International 2400, Hesston 1280,
A couple years ago, the ac blower motor had worn out its brushes on our Kubota L4610 HSTC.
We made the mistake of modifying some harbor freight brushes & got it going again.
Only problem was, they only lasted 2 years, then burned the armature badly, so we proceeded to get a new motor.
Online, we found them for 500 odd dollars. Our local dealer wanted 441.00.
We wound up going to a auto parts store & purchased a complete blower & wheel assembly with the exact same mount for 62.00.
The motor was larger, so we cut a hole through the cab ceiling with a 3" hole saw & let the motor hang through maybe 3/4".
It blows more air than the factory motor and so far we are happy with it.
Part # was PBM 75888.
