Yes it would have. Those fellas took some risk of getting some extra holes in themselves.

That's what I thought. If the antlers had come unlocked suddenly, one good upthrust could have blinded someone.

Hard to picture the antlers getting that locked-up.

It happens sometimes. And sometimes both die.

Sarah Palin's Dad has a collection of Antlers from animals that died stuck together.
I think it was on the Larry The Cable Guy show that they showed them. ???
Her Dad is a retired science teacher IIRC.
