My BX left this morning on a fellow's u-Haul trailer. Good tractor. Great tool. No, it was even better than that. Awesome BX1860.
But, as promised last spring, if the year was good in the organic gardening business, I would likely try to sell it when the work was done in fall. Today was that day.
I used Craigs, priced it right, and had to be patient. It took almost 3 weeks. The phone rang about everyday and most, but not all, were serious inquiries. A younger fellow, an engineer, was very polite on the phone and promised to come this morning with cash. He said his word was good, and it was. Fine guy. Good to know it is going to a good operator and will be well cared for.
I got about $1200-1500 over trade in value, so I was very pleased. Say what you will, but Kubota orange means name recognition, serious buyers, and exceptional re-sale return on investment.
