Hello to everyone, Im a new member to this forum but I have learned a lot reading ya'lls posts. I'm trying to be a hobby farmer after regular work and i'm finding it very difficult considering the time I spend fixing equipment. Anyhow, I purchased my childhood home on 80 acres at foreclosure 4 yrs ago. The house was in total ruins so I spent @ 3 yrs rebuilding the house, clearing land and Landscaping @ 10 acres. I had a lot of great help from friends and family. I purchased a 2006 Challenger MT455B 4x4 with 130 hrs from a friend at the local cat dealer and a JD2510 with bucket and thumb and misc attachments for both over time. Needless to say the JD hasn't missed a day of work other than flat tires and dead batteries. The Challenger on the other hand has had a new motor and all new hydraulics since I purchased it. Thank god for the $800 extended warrantee plan ! that would have cost roughly $27,000. It's a beast when its running and to give her credit she has been used hard during the whole process. Growing up we had a JD 2010 and made due but I don't how with out the 4wd and fel. I am now having a power shuttle problem which I believe is electrical but I will post it in the appropriate forum.
