Scaffolding, HF vs, NT vs. TSC

I bought the 2 tier kit from NT a couple years ago when I was building my shop, came with the outriggers and the safety railings.
They work great and take up minimal space when broken down, was planning on selling them when I'm done with the shop, but think I'll keep them around. 1849928384.jpeg

I have the HF version used it for years but only inside. Great for rolling around and working safely instead of hanging off a ladder. For outside I have about 6 stages of Bil-Jax scaffolding which is much sturdier.

I have put a six foot stepladder on the HF scaffold. But I also clamped two 1x4s on the main scaffold in an X pattern. That makes it much stiffer.

This was a setup to get to a 14 ft ceiling over the stairs. Very versatile tool. Sometimes I use light chain and lengths of metal tube to make a guard rail.

Check your TSC link again. You might be in for a credit. It comes up $129.99 here for the multipurpose link with a $149.99 for the pro set suggested. Odd that the $129.99 is 6 ft with a 1000 lb capacity and the $149.99 set is a 4 ft with 500 lb capacity.

Hmmm, interesting ... "Tractor Supply Stores will match any competitor痴 online or in-store price, Tractorsupply.com prices, or other TSC Store prices on any identical item except the following:"

I'll have to drop them a line.

Took some time, probably holiday rush delays, but I got this email a while ago:

"We have went ahead and price matched the item to the $129.99 price we were selling it at on 12/23. Please allow 3-5 business days for the refund to come back."

Their CC processor Citi kind of sucks, but Customer Service seems quite willing to work with customers.

The business industry is enormous, that's why with time has developed many companies and interpreters. If we talk about scaffolding, then a wide range of choices of services of a company opens. But you don't know which is better and which is worse, because you've never worked with them and it's normal. To be sure of the necessary material. I can recommend Pete Suen's company. He has been dealing with the scaffolding industry for a long time which made him the best of others. I used their services, and I was satisfied. I hope I was helpful.

I'll just echo that these are all essentially the same and parts are interchangeable whether they come from Home Depot, Lowes, HF, etc. What's really nice too is they make great storage racks, and if you get the kind with 2-piece verticals (like this one) they make a nice rolling work table. We bought ours because of a painting project, but after owning them for a while I would have purchased them whether we needed to paint anything up high or not.
