Scag/Kohler Power loss

I run 3 turf tigers daily with more hours than that and I will tell you turning up hill with blades engaged takes a lot of power and is harder on the pump than the motor. Plus a new one would cost you 10-11k. your mower should last 1500-2000hrs if taken care of.

You understand what I am talking about. Since the mower was new there have been spots on my farm that challenge the mower...just seems like there are a lot more of them lately. I have logged about 30-35 hours of use per year which is ultra low usage for a commercial mower...it would take me 50 years to run up 1500 hours.

I have never been afraid to spend money on the machine...it gets a dealer service every spring and if they say it needs it, it gets it.

I don't think the mower is running at peak power and want to get it there. Hey, its just a collection of parts and one (or more) of them seem tired.
