Not a great picture but yesterday morning looking out the front window. We got about 5 inches total.

Great pics. They never look as beautiful as real life so the views must look spectacular. Here is my current situation in the NEK Vermont. I was zoning out on the whole sunset and barely got these.

I finished clearing a 2400' driveway yesterday and saw this as I was driving the tractor to the barn. Sunset over the northern Cascades in Okanogan County. The pasture was not mowed this fall so we have 20+ inches on the ground.

Hauling hay to feed the cows...Kings River Valley, Nevada:
View attachment 730846
So how do you feed it once you get where you are going, just cut the strings and push of flakes at a time?

Growing up we mostly did small square bales and either cut the strings as we threw them into a hay feeder/manger or one person drove and the other cut strings and threw flakes off the trailer or pickup bed. A few times we did it solo with the tractor, just put it low gear and it will idle along as you go back and start feeding the hay.
Once we had all the hay barns full, Dad had a friend with a round baler finish our hay and that we hauled with a 3 pt bale spear. We would occasionally unroll them if there was snow on the ground or it was really cold, usually we just dropped them and put a bale ring around them.

Just thought you folks would appreciate these shots I took yesterday of the Windspur General Store entryway. This is in the remote Kings River Valley of Nevada, about 80 miles from the nearest town. My kind of place!
