Did you ever find a fix to your tractor. My 2554 is doing the same thing. Blowing grey/blue smoke. It's not using a whole lot of oil at this point, but I want to fix it. Was it as easy as compression loss from blown head gasket? Or is it what I think it is..bad rings and or valve seals?
