I want to thank you (all) for your answers to users questions. I learn a lot from you.

I "colorized" the wiring diagram you provided (Using GIMP). I find the colored version is easier to sort out the relay logic around the reverse PTO momentary function. I post it in hopes it may help someone here.

I picked up a S2554 ($55) that runs well and is fun to work on. This is my first mower tractor (but no deck yet) and first hydrostatic. It is at least 30 years newer than any previous tractors (Ford "N", "100", "1000" series, JD A,B,R, and Case VAC, 860) that were on a ranch from long ago.

Welcome to TBN, thanks for the input, but this is a 10 year old thread, so the OP (original poster) surely has it figured by now.
