I agree with Brad, flip it around and back blade. It works for me. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif It seems you can go on and on buying attachments so I've had to control myself.

Im a total novice, and I've tried to understand your suggestions but not sure if I'm understanding correctly

my gravel road is pretty well compacted, and I have a very rocky base because of generaly rocky land, but I do have some small wash out areas on some edges of the road. I have a 5' box blade. My scraper blade is adjustable from 4-6 feet. Pulling it behind my Ford 640. What would be the best and most succesful way to attack this?

1. use the scarifiers on my box blade to somewhat rake up or loosen the gravel, and then use my scraper blade angled to crown to the center (should this also be in a "back blade" type setup?), then lightly back blade down the center to spread the crown.

2. Do the previous using only the 4-6 foot scraper blade without scarifiying.

3. As in number 1 above, but using only the box blade to do the grading?
