Years ago I asked to see if anyone had used a scraper on their Ventrac and got limited response.

I finally got the time and nerve up.

Took off the extra weights in the rear and hooked it up.

Made sure that the scraper was well under the weight limits of the three point hitch.

Turned out well! The clay was still moist from rain the day before.

There was no problem with the tractor picking up the implement or pulling it, although it was pulled downhill which was easier.

That is called a back blade, I would guess that is why you got limited response. First you need to be a little under the width with the blade angled. A box blade is better for moving dirt.... jim
