Aren't you just trying to make a zero turn mower with screw drives in place of the wheels? Am I missing something? Seems like you could start with a parts manual for a zero turn mower and order up what you need - or equivilent equipment.

Zero turn mower pumps/motors are pretty pricey though. The only decent deal I have ever seen was at Surplus Center had the pump motor combo units for like $250 per side. Not sure if they are still there though. Otherwise you are talking 1,000's.
