Script debugging error message---any clues??

It seems lately while viewing some webpages on Internet Exploder that I get a script debugging dialog box popping up-seemingly on webpages with graphc content.

I had problems on a number of my computers (four) when viewing some ebay offerings I would get a runtime error dialog box and when I clicked on it Explorer would close out and computer would end up on the desktop screen.

I tried Mozilla Firefox for awhile and didnt get the runtime problem, but found Firefox slow and slowed down my computers in general.

Any words of wisdom??

You can disable script debugging in Internet Explorer, which should prevent that dialogue from popping up.

On the menu bar, go to Tools>> Internet Options. Click on the Advanced Tab. Look at the list of check boxes. Under Browsing, about the 5th or 6th items on the list are two options for Disable Script Debugging. Make sure both of those are checked....

I agree with KentT, disable your script debugger in Explorer. Usually this happens when there are problems with the JavaScript or other scripts sent by the website to your PC. They generally signify errors in the websites code. With your debugger on, Explorer thinks you might want to look at the script and make programming corrections. Just turn off the debugger and Explorer will either ignore or not display whatever the code ran or started.
