Hi fellas, well, as an update, the latest trip to the dealer (they pulled the carb and did a thorough cleaning this time) seems to have fixed my 2166, I was mowing the other day and it was quite warm, and no problems (crosses fingers). But, just in case there's a little more gunk in the carb, is there anyone that recommends that I DON'T use a little sea foam in the gas to help clean out that carb so I make sure it's sparklin' clean on the inside?

You wont hurt a thing by running a bit of seafoam in the gas all the time if you want to. I still find it hard to believe a brand spanking new machine w/ a fuel filter keeps getting dirt on the fuel side of the carb /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif but you never know!

well, I don't know that there's dirt/gum on the fuel side now, but I guess I'm paranoid, just because I had to take it in twice (you know the sorted story, /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif), and both times involved the carb in some fashion. Call it preventative " against hauling the **** tractor back in again" maintenance I guess. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
