my 00 yukon did that at 150 and is now at 170.. MMO is what did it for me.. of course.. that's mostly stoddards solvent.. so.. working towards the same concept..

I thought you were not suppose to use MMO in a Cat converter vehicle? Or did you cut your cat out to run duals?

I know very little about Sea Foam but I did look up the MSDS sheet on it and It's more like paint thinner or Mineral Spirits than anything else. May work.. I think i'll pass. May make more sense to spend a little extra on Off Road gas with no Ethanol. My Chainsaws, Weedeaters,Snowmobiles, Ice Augers and Leaf blowers Love the "No" Ethanol gas.,

The stuff is just baby oil, straight cut gasoline and fuel injection gas line antifreeze.

yep.. same with my weed eater. not sure what it did.. but it unblocked or solvated something in the fuel system that was preventing the engine from running past idle.

i weed ate till I ran out of string after that.

can't get N-E gas around here without driving 45m to do so.. and that makes it not worth it.. etc

I'd disagree with your logic there.

by your own admission, the solvent characteristics of the SF can 'wash' IE solvate deposits as they form from a jet.. yet previously in the sentence you seem to believe that the solvent can not solvate the same deposits. cake and eat it too issue?

it's a solvent... and it can solvate deposits. if it can get to them.. it should be able to solvate them.

The pilot on the bike was stopped up from one end to the other; about .75" of almost solid "gunk". Seafoam will soften what it can touch but it needs motion to wash away what has softened. If there is just a small plug of gunk in a port or it's partially clogged but still flows a little fuel then Seafoam can dissolve and wash it out as fuel flows through. But no, I don't think anything will dissolve a 3/4" plug of the crap that forms.
