I have a B7300 with a RC60-24B MMM. The Service Schedule says to replace the oil seals on the mower's gear box every two years. Typically I put 50 hours on the MMM per year and replace the oil yearly.

I've never heard of this sort of PM. I have mowers with gear boxes that have years on them and no leaks.

So do I fix something thats not broken, or wait till I see a drop in oil level or a leak before???

Just my opinion... but I've seen oil seals on pto equipment last for years...

If you keep a close eye on the oil level it should be fine. If someone has special info for this unit that contradicts this, I'm sure they will chime in
