Sears Lawn Tractor

BOB,
I would put a landplane behind the DK45 and smooth the lawn area up, knocking off the high spots. Fixing the lawn area now will make the mowing easier and faster and that new mower will last a lot longer.

I built my house on a slope after clearing trees so I started off with no lawn and any time it rained it would create ruts. I grew grass as quick as possible but the ground is uneven so I feel your pain. The best solution is to redo the dirt and smooth it out if you can. Otherwise maybe try to use your Kioti to fill in the dips in the yard and planting grass.

I have sympathy for you. I wish I could see how the deck bolts up. They normally are designed to give or float in the upward direction to keep from high centering the tractor. If they don't you'll end up breaking something over time. If your isn't designed to "float" upward then those deck wheels aren't doing a bit of good. Look over how the deck bolts up. Try and lift the deck and watch the linkages. If it is really hard mounted, raise the deck wheels to give yourself more clearance.
