Seat Adjustment on LS R4047

I got my tractor yesterday and been playing in the yard with it. Has anyone modified their seat mounts to get any extra leg room? There looks to be around 3" behind the seat. There's some more bolt holes on the mount, but I'm not sure if they're meant for repositioning the seat.

I figured out how to adjust the seat all the way back today. If you take the seat and adjuster off, there's a stop bracket bolted on the backside of the adjuster. Remove the stop and add three 1/4" washers to make up the difference(if not, the bolt is too long). This allows the seat to move all the way back against the bracket in front of the fuel tank. The only downside is the seat can rub against the bracket. The next thing I plan to do is raise the whole seat and ride adjustment assembly up about 2-3 inches.

I've checked out the R4047 a few times and the seat is my only complaint. I'm a BIG guy and even with the weight adjustment all the way up it's still too low for me. Like you are planning, spacing it up about 2-3" would be just about right. Surprisingly, I can slide it back and have plenty of room.
