seat control?

it sounds like a stupid question i know but....

So im helping a friend on his farm and on his T190 (ish)

The lever that you use to adjust the forward/backward position on the seat will not move.

What is the intended direction of the movement of the lever? pull up? push down? pull out?

seriously? no one knows off the top of there head the direction you have to move the lever to get the seat to move?

The offending lever is frozen so in an attempt to get it unstuck, i at least want to know that im forcing it in the right direction!

Lets TRY some LOGIC, if the lever is on the right hand side of the machine then the act that is easy for the human arm to move is backwards to release the latch.
