I also have a 3510i and found it to be very unstable with a moderate amount of weight in the loader. From my own experience, after attaching my Bushhog backhoe which added a 950 lb. counterweight, the 3510i has become exceptionally stable. For snowplowing purposes I have narrowed the width of my rear wheels and still find it very stable. All of my 7 acres is slopped, don't know what percent or degree, but it is substantial. I think if you follow Shifty's advice above, you will be golden.

Before I start working on the grades I will be taking the BackHoe off the tractor.

I have a different machine, but I leave my hoe on as it greatly aids in stability on a slope.

When things get steep I swing it to the uphill side, and when things get steeper I extend it and lower it close to the ground. Can't go very fast, but it is a great outrigger.

Cut the engine RPM way down and move the hoe slow, centrifugal forces do weird things sometimes.

If I am going straight up & down keeping the bucket low is very important. I have tipped forward a few times, but if the bucket is only 6" off the ground, nothing bad happens. Extend the hoe straight back and go slow...

Thanks for all the replies. I am working in the woods on an avg 17% grade. Problem is when you hit one of those divots and that grade increases instantly.
I have also had instability forward to the side while lifting with the loader. With a heavy load the tractor rear wheel will lift on one side and lean over the other front wheel. That is with the back hoe installed.
I need to fill the tires to get it more stable. I hope that will also stop the wheel spinning when pushing into a pile with the FEL bucket.
