Seat Repair

   / Seat Repair #11
Old thread but my 4310 seat has no clips. It just has an indented edge where the glue came loose. I'm going to round up as many clamps as I can find and use gorilla glue. I plan to space the clamps maybe 4" apart. I might have to do the base first and then the back last.

I use Gorilla Glue, but rather than clamps, I propped a 50 lb sandbag against the seat back. Worked fine. This was on my previous tractor, a Deere 4400.
I did put a Deere seat cover over the seat after the repair.

I just fixed mine using 3m 1300 Neoprene High Performance Rubber and Gasket Adhesive. I worked it wet then applied pressure overnight with ratchet straps and weights. I don't think you could tear the seats loose without ruining them. It worked good!!
