Seat replacement on 1500 series

Any of you guys look into replacing the stock seat on a 1400/1500 series? I really like the "wrap around" seat on my 135 but it does not look like the bottom plate will match. I mow a bumpy field that just wears my butt out. Any suggestions?

Does your seat have a cloth pattern or is it a slick material?

It is the grey vinyl seat. Adjustable front to back, and has weight adjustment. Just not to shock absorbing.

Look into the seat that has a cloth like pattern on seating area and back. It is day and night different in comfort. Or you could get a new one with wrap around arms rests at TSC for a lot less.

Jerry, is that a MF seat option? If so how can I find out about it and other "options" for the MF tractors other than dealer? The MF website has nothing I could find.

I didn't look to see if you had a 1400 or a 1500 series until now. The seat that I was referring to was on the 1433 and 1440 (non-V) tractors. I don't know if the 1400 and the 1500 use the same seat or not. The 1433 and 1440"V" tractors had a slick smooth seat like on the 1200 series. I have forgotten which seat is on the 1500. The cloth looking seat is a real change from the smooth seat. It is a lot thicker and rides a lot better. To help tell if it fits, it mounts with a long pin in the front of the seat. The pin is also what it hinges on to tilt forward.
