I have 3 hours seat time on my new L3000DT. Having gone from a Ford 6000 (7000lbs) to Kubota (2500lbs) is a new learning experience. After 3 hours I am finding this tractor will do anything I ask. It is a wonderful machine and power is not a problem. For those of you that will only drive a hydro for the price difference I will shift all day. I have learned how to use this machine with no problems. A hydro makes 3 point hook up easy. I love this Tractor. I have been have using a 6 ft box blade and 6 ft landscape rake. The 4wd and diff lock have been used several times. I have alot of clean up to do. Cleared land and debris from having a house built.
I spoke to my local dealer and he said that he has sold more
L2600DT and L3000DT than any other model. It is the best tractor for the money. I paid $10703.00 out the door with R4"s. I will be returning to get a fel soon. I helped my dealer assemble my tractor and it was great. For those of you which are having trouble in deciding which unit to get(I did) hope this helps. I am glad I bought a L3000DT and have no regrets. A L3010 whould have been nice but the extra price was out of reach. Manual shift is no problem because power is abundent. Just pick a gear and goto work.
This is the best site for info.
Thanks for your help.
