Very curious how much seat time you actually get to use and enjoy your tractors. What are your situations? Do you spend too little or too much time in the seat. Is it satisfying or it is a chore? How big are your largest gaps in between uses? Balancing life is tricky, and I think that some on here find working the earth with their Kubota tractor is therapeutic. I found in the few short hours I had one, it was impossible to think about all the other things in life. All of the stresses of life disappeared while wrestling logs and brush with a grapple.

I spend as much time as I want to in the seat. Yes, it is a great way to forget about everything else when in the seat.

My longest time out of the seat is in the winter, which isn't all that long down here.

Winter and mud season not much seat time other depends on the things to do list and the season.

It's just like anything else, do enough of it, and eventually you get sick of it!

Even when not looking for seat time I get it. Last week due to all the rain, I ended up pulling my big zero turn out of a ditch where it got stuck. Yesterday I noticed my neighbors zero turn partially in his pond stuck so I took the BX25 down and pulled him out. Sounds like a pattern huh?

I'm not there yet, I still enjoy any tractor work.......Ok, I am sick of picking rocks out of my pasture and putting them in the bucket, but I do enjoy going to the rock pile and dumping them.

Funny. I also had to pull my ztr out of the mud last week. We are on track to have another extremely wet year here in Maryland.
As far as routine use, I generally operate year round with snow and large area field mowing. No field contracts this year, so my tractor may sit a little this summer.

This time of year i come home from work get out of my truck and get right on a tractor, road grading , finish mowing , brush hogging, dirt moving, the list goes on. Then i go to my farm on weekends and get on another tractor and start all over. gotta love it.

My tractors are used as much as needed. Sometimes a lot, sometimes not at all.

But the daughters have noticed one thing over the years. They claim that even at the end of a long, hard day I exhibit PERMIGRIN ear to ear. (For some reason quotation marks do not seem to work here, hence the CAPS...)
