It's been very quiet around here....everyone out working their Kioti's?
I'm headed out tomorrow for 3 weeks camping on my place. I talked to my neighbor who had arranged for someone to hay my place, but for whatever reason it didn't happen, so i get to hog 12 acres when i get there......SEAT TIME! This will put me @ the 50 hr so off to the dealer she goes for fluids. I will be doing a crack check and will post results next month.

This should be the last trip before we move, so the "Clampett" trailer is loaded with everything from a sawmill to a washer

That's quite a trailer, even the mobile home wheels like I have on my utility trailer. Looks like some toys on there too. So you get to mow 12 acres of hayable grass, like waist high? If it was me I would be sure to have the benadryl.

I'm jealous of the three week part, that should allow you to take your time and do things other than tractor. Believe it or not, after two or three straight days of constant tractoring I will admit to a sore bum and a desire to take a break.

I bought it in TN and it is home made....yep the "dreaded" MH wheels, but hey, both axles have brakes!. I like everything except the 3/4 ply deck which is getting replaced this trip with some 2" sawmill decking.
Speaking of benadril, i am getting a filtered mask for this job due to the hay fever and plan on jumping right in the creek when i am done

. The 3 week thing is something we have done since we bought in '01, gives me time to get stuff done and spend time with the family. I am having the driveway (1500-2000') done up to the house site this trip, and let me tell you this is exciting, it's the first big step towards retirement !

I checked your profile and it sounds like you've got a great parcel. How about posting some pictures when you get back from "playing"? It sounds like we're both in similar situations. Enjoy the three weeks!

Rats, 3 weeks went way too quick, i only got half the stuff done i intended.....i even left the brand new brush guard hanging in the shed! Oh well, looks like i'll have to sneak back there in Oct. My east pasture was hayed(yea) so i only had to mow the middle and west = 13 hrs. No cracks on the loader yet(56 hrs), but the oil pressure light winked on and off when the rad screen would get clogged and the temp climbed. Then at 56 hrs it came on and stayed on, so next trip she goes in for the 50 hr PM.
For hogging, the dust mask worked great, and i only had itchy eyes when i was done. Here are some pic's:
