Second sending bad

Had a fuel leek and put the Bota in the shop. The sending unit in tank was bad and they replaced it. They were loading it on the truck to bring it back to me and the driver noticed the gage not working...Yep the new sending unit was bad /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I guess it is better it happened there but two of them bad????

This has nothing to do with anything but......over this last weekend my dad and I did some wiring at my place and thought we had the old wiring all figured out. After a break we went back upstairs and turned the light on....no light....we both said somthing we should not have.....thought we better just replace the light bulb....no light....uttered them same words....we were about to tear back into the wiring but just as we were I thought I would check another bulb.....it worked. Defects right out of the box do occur I guess. I imagine the part was dropped or kicked around quite a bit before it gets to the dealer. Just one of those flukes.
