For a secure door you could consider a magnetic door lock that is powered by 12V like the PDF attached. THis would need a switch to lock but would also secure the door and contents.
The other option could be to attach a magnet to the door and pins on a swivel in the middle on either side of the door front/back so when the doors and magnets move over the area the pins swivel up holding the door in place. This would be simple but you would need to make it so debris doesnt impact the swivel pins - easier said than done.
