Seeking 3 point rear blade advice

I have a 6 ft. blade I have used for years on my TO 35, I have been accustomed to blading snow with it in the normal forward position, then rotating it facing backwards to push mounds of snow out of the way.
When I hooked it to my Mahindra I didn't consider the shorter lift arms and their limitations. I can't rotate the blade in the above manner because it hits the tires or other tractor components.
What have others here done? Get a 4 ft blade?
Thus far I have been content clearing snow with the loader with Edge Tamers attached, but at times the blade could be a handy option as well.

How much interference is tire to blade swinging around.... Something like a quick hitch will add 5-7 inches to extend blade to rear.... Other option may to be extend hook up points on blade to be able to swing it around without having to mod tractor arms...

Brings up question in my mind about blade I was contemplating buying, never quite considered pivot point distance from tires... Something to think about...

I haven't gotten out there with a measuring tape yet, quick hitch might be the easiest option if the old blade is compatible. I have not researched quick hitches at all'

Have you tried pushing snow with the back side of the blade, without rotating it?

You might have to unhook it then turn the mount around then hook back up . i have had to do that before.

Maybe disconnect the top link, tilt up blade to clear tires for rotation.

What model blade? I have used a few, and the 84" I had the same issue, but was too big for the tractor so I sold it. I use my Land Pride 72" and it spins, but the rear blade mount is longer so there is room to do so.

How much too short is it to rotate?

If just an inch or two, would a quick-hitch or Pat's system extend it far enough away to rotate?
Does blade have an offset adjust - I so, maybe do the "two -step": Offset it away, then towards, as blade rotates.

p.s. Many caution against "pushing" with 3 point hitch as they claim they're built for pulling not pushing. I don't know, closer look at mounts and axle might answer that. The advantage of using "forward" facing blade pushing backwards is you're less likely to "hook" something and bring tractor to stop (or breakage) as backward blade may be more likely to ride up & over object (curb, etc...).

I would make two points:

1.) Even though I have room to swing my 6 foot blade I always keep in forward and just push backwards "the wrong way" and it works fine.

2.) A 6-foot blade is probably too much for your small mahindra. It just doesn't have the weight when you are trying to move heavy snow. I used to run a 6-foot back blade on my B2920 Kubota and in heavy snow it would move the whole tractor sideways. On the other hand, for lighter snow I'm sure it would be fine.
