Kubota L5030
I just picked up a Bush Hog M300 loader for my L5030. I got it pretty cheap, so I'm going down the road of trying to figure out the best way to adapt it using Kubota parts. Bush Hog no longer supports these loaders. At all.

The two options I have are:

1.) Use the two main weldments that attach to the frame, cut off the vertical pieces of "U" channel, and fabricate a bush hog style piece to receive the M300 loader frame. This is probably the way I have to go, but when examining a side photo of a M300 and LA853 overlaid in photoshop, I noticed the pin geometry where the hydraulic cylinder and loader attachment points to the side frames were identical. This is a much longer shot, but it brings me to option 2:

2.) Try to mount the M300 onto a pair of Kubota side frames to work with the Kubota main weldments. This is where I'm looking to see if anybody would be able to help out and get me some measurements. Attached is a photo with some clarification. I'm looking from the center of each pin for dimension A, and the centerline of each arm for dimension B. If these are anything similar to the Bush Hog, I might have a chance, albeit a slim one.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Chris

Sorry, took me a while to get out there:

A = 11 1/2", maybe 11 9/16" (OK, probably 29.5cm)

B = 40 3/8"

And welcome to TBN! :welcome:

You're very welcome! Was there actually a 3rd dimension that you needed?

I was going to ask for the width of the frame where it pins, but after taking your numbers, it looks like I'll have to fabricate the vertical portion to work with the M300 main frame. The Kubota loader was a few inches narrower than the Bush Hog.
