I purchased L3010 Kubota from an invalid who needed tax money last year. He purchased it from the Hillsboro Texas dealer as the 2nd owner he stated that they gave him 1 year warranty and that it was still enforce. We used it 2 times to mow our 5 acres and had disconnected the mower to use the front end loader. After a few loads of shredded wood chips a loud pop was heard. The rear differential housing had been pushed out from the inside. We consulted the Irving Texas dealer who called the Hillsboro dealer. They were told that the 3 point rod and piston had been replaced at 400 hours and the 2nd owner was given only a 6 month warranty. The tractor has only 447 hours now. The orginal purchaser states that he had no problem but traded it in on a more powerful tractor. The second owner swears that the tractor was worked on because the hydralic system was slow in operating. We consulted Kubota because I think that it was built with defective hydralic parts. We ask for assistance in the repair not a total cost. Kubota states that no warranty work was performed during the warranty period and neither Kubota or the dealer would assist in the repair. Other dealers have stated that they have seen the same damage and if the rod and piston repair wasn't adjusted properly that this would create enough pressure from the inside to bust the housing. Another mechanic states that if a by pass valve was defective and caused the first damage and wasn't replaced also this would cause repeat damage. Only 47 hours after the Kubota dealers repair this tractor is junk.
