See girlfriend/backhoe analogy above. Right neighborly of you to maintain an extra in case a friend comes over to dig holes but I think he'd understand if you had to take turns.

Hmmmm. Maintaing two girlfiends IS expensive. If someone comes over to help, they get the dump truck duty, cuz digging holes causes piles. I need to do my part to stimulate the economy! Yes! Buy more tractor stuff!

After using an excavator..I'd put up with slow travel for the ease of use vs the smaller tractor mounted backhoe with much less ability digging wise. I have a 9 foot hoe on my tractor and it has power, but lacks depth, and reach all too often.

I've been thinking about an excavator for some time now.. but if I did I'd be selling the small TLB right away and buying a more general use tractor. You'd be able to take the hoe off without hurting resale as much as me. (Kubota L35)

I think when you find you can't get much more than half what you paid for it you may wish you kept it.

Look at it this way: If you didn't have one and saw this one advertised for what you are likely to get for it, would you want to buy it?

You can always make some extra cash some other way to make up the difference.

Or just flip a coin.

I think when you find you can't get much more than half what you paid for it you may wish you kept it.

He'd have to wait for a Kioti owner in order to sell it with the subframe but I'd imagine he could get more than half of what he paid. Dealers don't discount these things much so people end up paying close to list except as part of a new TLB. A well cared for BH would seem to be worth well more than half to a Kioti DK45s owner thinking of adding one.
