I have a near mint condition 2000 325 with 380 hours and 48c deck. The tractor is in the Washington DC area, so buyers from Maryland and Virginia would be buying it without having to ship it via freight. The motor starts easy and runs like new. Oil changed every year with Mobil 1. Trans fluid and filters changed at 50 hours and then again at 300 hours. New high-end battery last year. No other attachments included except a JD cup holder. Tractor needs nothing and is ready for use. The tractor was gently used and it shows. So, how much should I be asking for it?

Start out at $100,000...In a week, if it doesn't sell, drop the price by 50%....$50,000...In a week, if it doesn't sell, drop another 50%...$25,000 and so on.
At week 4 or 5...your tracctor should sell.

Go to Used Tractors For Sale at TractorHouse.com: John Deere Tractors, used farm tractors and farm equipment, tractors for sale, Case IH, New Holland, Agco, Kubota. In the "Quick Search" box type in "John Deere 325" and go through the listing for your tractor's make and model. Based on the listing, the fair market value could be around $2,500.00 to $3,000.00.

I bought a 1996 JD 325 a couple years ago. It had approx. 360 hrs. at the time, not excellent condition, although very good. I gave $2600 and considered that a bit much. In retrospect, maybe it was - but there are not many nice mowers of this type for sale. IMHO, I'd wait until spring if at all possible as it may not even bring $2k this time of year.

Good point selling in the spring, I thought I'd put it on craigslist now and see what kind off interest I get. Some people around here use the tractor in the winter for plowing, snowblowing.

I just sold my 99 with 48 blade and plow with 660 hours. Sold in one day on Craigslist. Listed it for 2900 bucks and let the guy talk me down to 2300

What condition would you say yours was in? Did the sale include anything other than the tractor and deck?
So I think I should ask $2900 for mine and take no less than $2500 since it only has 380 hours and is one year newer.
