Selling L39 :(

Sounds good, but I just don't have time to do additional work....Can't hardly keep up with the house / yard maintenance and my full time job.....forget a few spare minutes to spend with my son and daughter.

Build.....How did you sell it, classifieds, ebay, dealership trade?

I honestly can't remember, but I think it was word of mouth. I'm in the building trades so when you have something to sell, word spreads pretty fast.

Unfortunately sold the L39 tonight. What a bummer. I'm sure the reality of it all will sink in tomorrow. I honestly convinced myself this was my "last tractor". Didn't plan on having to move again. Oh well....guess it's just a machine, but it will certainly be a sad day (Tues or Wed) when it's removed from my property.

A real nice pair of neighbors bought it 50/50 and will use it on their adjacent farms doing various L39 tasks. They owned a B7500 prior, so this rig will certainly put a smile on their face. I'm just glad somebody didn't buy it for an abusive commercial life. Funny how one can get attached to a piece of painted steel. It's been such a great machine. Hate to see her go.

I've had a ton of interest lately. Had people offering cash sight unseen.....others mad that I didn't call them back fast enough. Craig's List and an ad in machinerytrader dot com produced excellent results. Craig's List is just an amazing source for things of all kinds.

Well, I've just gone thru the long decision process on what I to need for my piddling little piece in Vermont (75 acres) and my 300+ acres in Mississippi. And I had just about decided on an L39 and gotten ready to start calling around about machines I've found on Machinery Trader.

So congratulations Jim.

By the way - what did you haul it around with?
