The present owner of the DoKa that I restored is looking to sell it now. He has only put about 50 miles on it since buying it last fall! States that he does not have the time to drive it, and that its just too nice to take off road at has hunting camp. So he has asked me if I could broker the deal, since I know alittle about the truck! Price is $45k and all info about the restoration can be found here:

UNIMOG FOR SALE, UNIMOG RESTORATION!

This is by far the best that you can buy!! everything is either new or rebuilt!!! If you have any questions about it, feel free to contact me.

Great work Von.
Some of us are new to Unimogs and I was wondering if you could post some vehicle specs such as axle ratios, air lockers?,hp etc.
Thanks.

If you go to the link I posted, in the upper left side there are some links to some brochure scans that have specs. And some of the other mogs that I have for sale.

As for MPG these mogs get about 14-17 mpg! not bad for an almost 4 ton truck!!!

I luv mogs, but IMO, this is just done wrong ...

it's frankly TOO nice ...
wrong paint ... it should be done up in "scratch me" flat primer
mud flaps (and fender extensions)? why???
I won't ask if that's leather seating ...

Good luck getting the ask ... it's probably worth that to someone (aka, IMO it's better than an H2 by a LONG ways).

Again IMO ...

p.s. looks like quality work ;)

Von you're not to awful far from PA. I remember Henro having a love for Mogs maybe you should look him up and take him for a test drive.

The fenders and mud flaps are all stock! The paint and seats are just some creature comforts. If you have ever rode in a stock Mog seat, you would understand the seat replacement!!! And it might as well look nice going down the road!!
As for price, sure beats buying a new one at over $200k!
