The Idaho one doesn't look quite comparable. Its seat isn't original and looks uncomfortable, the air cleaner is missing part of the enclosure so it won't filter as well (and this may have damaged the engine), and it generally looks abused. It may well be 2 wheel drive and needing expensive repairs to restore it to work properly.

Mae's Yanmar looks well cared for and in good condition. My guess around here (California) for it would be an asking price over $5,000 and an eventual sale over $4,000, including all available accessories. I see higher prices here but they seem to be listed forever.

Your big on seats.? What all you setting in it?. Idaho $2250.00, The one in Win.Va. 2500.00 no loader or 4wd. so add 2500.00 to it and it's at 5.000$ look at the condition of it. The one in IL. 3250.00 No loader so add 1500.00 and your @ 4750.00 with that one. Different Air Cleaner I noticed. There all hitting around 5000.00 doing the math. For WV. and you know the chance of getting anyone to even be able to pay that for a 35 yr. old garden tractor is going to be really hard. I heard the economy is getting better though. Plus everything is just pics. and just asking prices. They may be actually opposite in condition when you personally see it. Always go high on the price. Kind of hard to go up and expect a lower offer. Rule of Thumb! Perfect example is the Air Cleaner cover. Hate to have to replace or make that.:confused2: Big time or money, lower offer.............

It is hard for people to come up with the money for purchase. I was thinking about waiting and seeing if I could put it in with the sale of the house, but I am concerned that wont work out and I would have to end up rushing it to a auction and really lose out. Plus, I would have to get someone to haul it for me.

I think you need all-cash, and let the buyer find his financing. Don't get caught carrying a loan yourself.

Could you advertise more widely? Maybe Craigslist in a wealthy urban area with horsey people who are looking for something like this? It's not unreasonable for a buyer to come a few hundred miles for this. These are rare and attractive but you need to present it to a huge audience to get to the ideal customer. For an example I drove 300 miles (each way) for my first YM186D, a similar model. I had never seen one advertised closer at a reasonable price.

Yes, definitely all cash, I usually put cash on pick up on any ad I run, no financing. I was talking to a bank teller today that said they recently got in a counterfeit cashier check.

My house is only 2 miles off of I81. I can reach Hagerstown MD, Winchester VA, that surrounding area can really pick up horsey people, and areas of central Pa. Wash DC is only 1 ½ hours away, on a good day. There are a lot of options.
