Is there a way to view the Home Machinst article without buying a subscription?

More than you ever wanted to know about the 1022: Ruger 10/22 - RimfireCentral.com Forums

Same place has a lot on Marlin 60 and about any other .22 on the market.

Not much info on Nigerian check scams, however.

I have a 50 round clip for mine. Man, my fingers get sore loading that up! :D

Moss, man I can't believe you've got a 50 rd mag and don't have the Butler Creek loader, dump in a box shack em a little spin the knob, and have fun.

I don't get the opportunity to shoot very often. I will consider looking at them, though.

You'll probably not find one but the Mossburg 152 carbine is a fine semi. As a teenager I bought 2 boxes a week and usually ran out by weeks end. With open sights I could make a wire fence sing at 50'. Can barely see the wire at 50' now. MikeD74T

That reminds me of shooting at Boy Scout camp. The targets were at 50' between two wires. We were happy when we started hitting the bulls eye. But that got boring. So we started shooting the clothes pins that held the targets on. But that got boring. So we started shooting the wire that held the clothes pins. That got us K.P. duty.
