We all share tractors & farm related hobbies, if we injected politics, or religion into it who knows how long we would all be on speaking terms.

You could make a separate area if you wished, but I would not contribute to it. I like the majority of the people here because we have a common interest. If someone doesn't like my political view I may not like him anymore. I would rather just leave it as is.

I like the decor of your bathroom, and the paper holder is very attractive. However, the first thing that would have to would be the phone. My time on the "throne" is sacrosanct. It's the only place of privacy I have in the whole house to ponder my thoughts and my place in the universe. A seperate area for a general discussion on politics would not be useful, but why not restrict it to agricultural politics. This could cover a very wide gambit from local issues of land use to agricultural subsidies.
